Today's Card:

8 of Swords

Meaning according to the booklet:

Interference.  Misdirected energy.  Neglect of important matters.  Lack of persistence.  Unforeseen bad luck.  Restriction.  Great care in some areas, disorder in others.

Meaning to me:

A mystery to me on why this would show up now.  Although the last statement is what has been going on with me lately.  I've taken some very great care in some areas of my life, but there are other parts of my life that lay in ruin and disorder that I should take care of.  Maybe my energy has been a bit unfocused as of late.  I have several things going on in my life right now.  And I do seem to be focusing a lot of my energy on stuff that isn't putting money in my wallet or food on the table.  But I do put my energy out there.  Maybe my intent when I work and ask for stuff needs to be a bit more clear.  We'll see what this day brings.  It's a long one.  In the studio at 10:30am and I leave the studio at 9:30pm.  Breaks in between of course, but still a long day.  We'll see what the day brings and how this card plays into the day. 

Remember we have the 3rd Annual Chili Cook-off and canned food drive (benefiting Three Square) on Saturday, February 20th from 3pm to 7pm.  Grotto Radio is going to be recording there and possibly having a live show.  I'll be judging the various chili's (love my  job).  So bring out your best chili and come out and have fun. 

I'm also going to push two new shows over at VANR (Vegas All Net Radio) for the next little bit.  Conversations with Mary every day from 11am to 12pm.  More of a new age and daily advice show on different things.  Mary's message is very good.  And also The Metamystic Show on Wednesdays from 7pm to 8pm.  Many different spiritual authors talking about things in the Metamystic realm.  I board op for both of these shows and have been listening to them for a while.  Both are good for what they are about.
