Today's Card:

Queen of Wands

Meaning according to the booklet:

The watery part of fire.  A woman of adaptability, peristent energy, calm authority, power of attraction, generous but intolerant. Obstinacy, revenge, dominance.

Meaning to me:

I have never liked pulled court cards for myself.  They usually mean people, but I'm not sure if they mean people coming into my life, or if they are people already in my life.  The last 3 words might be better to discribe what is going on with me in general.  But I'm not sure how well those are discribing me lately.  So I guess for today, I just need to keep my eye out for an adaptable woman with unending energy, who might be able to attract some power my way.   

Lesson from yesterdays card (9 of Disks: Gain):

Well I did learn alot yesterday from that card.  Realized that gain does not mean gain in the way of money, but also of knowledge.  I usually draw these cards right after feeding my dogs, so most times, I'm still not fully awake enough to appreciate what is being said to me.  That is why I'm now doing this section.  Found out that I need to be patient a bit more with the job I interviewed with.  Be a few more weeks before I know anything.  Which is a bummer.  But I'll keep in touch and see what goes on.    

The 3rd Annual Pagan Pride Chili Cook-off and canned food drive (benefiting Three Square) on Saturday, February 20th from 3pm to 7pm.  Grotto Radio, Chaos And Miracle, S.T.I.M. Radio, and The Curvacious Bounty of Sin City is going to be broadcasting live for all 4 hours.  It should be a lot of fun and there will be a lot of great food there as well.  We might also get a visit from CJ, from The Metamystic Show also on Vegas All Net Radio (he can be heard live on Wednesday nights from 6 to 7pm), and if she can pull herself away from a lecture that she is giving, Mary from Conversations with Mary (live Monday through Fridays from 11am to 12noon), might also try to stop by.
