Ace of Disks

The Root of the Power of Earth.  Maerial gain.  Power.  Labor.  Wealth.  contentment.  Materialism

Meaning to me:

Ahh materialism.  I do miss that somewhat.  I know that sounds bad, but having been without a job for going on 6 months now, I miss not having enough money to go and play poker, or buy the latest gadget, or just take my g/f out to dinner.  For that matter, I miss not having to means to just provide a stable house for myself and my dogs, and an way to keep Grotto Radio on the air in it's current form.  I have often said that you need to take care of yourself before you can take care of others.  It's getting harder for me to take care of myself, and that much harder to care for others.        

Lesson from yesterdays card (8 of Cups - Indolence):

I've been being lazy and letting things slide as of late.  I need to stop that and start getting myself back.  This card was a good motivational card for me to wake me up.  .
